- Aromatic description
- This spicy citrus has a delicate, light and refreshing aroma that is usually a top note. Bergamot is sometimes called the finest flower of citrus, because of its very subtle and complex scent, much more than other citruses. An acidulous and fresh scent, obviously, but also bitter, fruity, and subtly floral with a mild spicy tone, recalling lavender.
- General
- This fresh, citrus-scented oil is expressed from an inedible fruit grown almost exclusively in Calabria, Italy. It is also native to tropical Asia. The method of extraction is cold expression from the fruit peel.
